從問卷調查中得知市場對“繁簡一體”的需求甚大，決定為新字體「鐵宋」擴大字符範圍，讓一套字體同時支持繁體字與簡體字，也因此增加了項目規模。
Decided to support both traditional Chinese and simplified Chinese characters in MetroSung, hence increased the project scale.
啓動：字體設計
完成制定新字體「鐵宋」的設計細節和標準，包括漢字和拉丁字母。
Completed the design details of the MetroSung typeface, including both Chinese characters and Latin alphabets.

完成「鐵宋」v1.0的產品規劃與定價，決定以“早鳥優惠”的方式為產品展開預售活動。

在香港<字體聚>上預覽「鐵宋Plus」：新產品秉持「鐵宋」的設計風格，針對排版需求對字體進行結構性的補充與優化，打造為更完整、更實用的專業字體方案。
Previewed the new product "MetroSung Plus" at the Hong Kong <TypeMeet> forum: inheriting the original design style, supplements and optimizes the font to address needs of typesetting; making it a comprehensive typographic solution for contemporary professional publishing.
